Hadia and Nader Soliman, the owners of King Tut Egyptian Street food grew up in Egypt and met in fine arts college. After getting married and immigrating to the United States, they began to build a family and life for themselves in Cleveland, Ohio. As successful business owners in other industries, they always knew they were missing something. Their love for food and their Egyptian culture pushed them to open the first Egyptian food truck in Northeast Ohio in 2021, after its success-- they decided to open King Tut Egyptian Street Food as a restaurant right here in Brecksville, Ohio! Nader, Hadia, and the entire team at King Tut have a sincere desire to please their customers. From breakfast and coffee to lunch and dinner, King Tut hopes to provide a piece of the Egyptian culture with every interaction and meal eaten!
We were welcomed immediately entering the restaurant. The man working there was very friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh and delicious! The mint lemonade is so good! You can't leave without trying the yummy baklava. Great overall experience, and we'll definitely be back to try more tasty dishes.
Cannot say enough good things about King Tut. From an Egyptian's perspective: the food is traditional and delicious. Koshari was great, the beef liver sandwich is exactly how it would taste on a stroll on the Nile in Cairo's streets and the Konafa for dessert was to die for. The atmosphere, music and the decor completes the experience for a quick trip to Egypt without having to leave the US. The owners are friendly and serve you with a smile and it is evident that they take pride in serving quality food.
I had an amazing experience at this Egyptian cuisine restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that took me right back to the Middle East. The customer service was exceptional—so warm and welcoming. When they found out we were Palestinians, they went out of their way to make us feel even more at home. It's not just about the food here; it's about the whole experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy great food and genuine hospitality!
